Canada's National Ballet School - Project “Grand Jeté”
Located in downtown Toronto, The National Ballet School offers full-time dance training, academic education and residence for the talents students from grade 6-12, and intensive dance training for post-secondary students. “Grand Jeté” is an ambitious $100 Million capital expansion project that won multiple awards and includes a new state-of-the-art dance training centre, the restoration of 2 heritage buildings for academic classrooms and administrative offices.
The Town Hall atrium A/V system included a 10x16 ft. solid media projection screen integrated into the existing Donor Wall, high intensity Christie Digital SD60 DLP projector, multiple-zone public address system, wireless Crestron control systems, and audio/video feed from the Betty Oliphant Theatre using CAT-5 based technology. The Music & Keyboard room included a digital recording device, mixing board, projection screen, window shades controlled by a Crestron system, and multi-classroom linked A/V systems. Classrooms and the Student Study Area includes full-featured Crestron controlled A/V systems and dual format projection screen. The Wet & Dry Laboratories are equipped with full-featured Crestron controlled A/V systems including the use of an Elmo PTZ camera to support the science demonstrations.
