FEATURED PROJECTS-DETAILS
CN Traffic Control Centre
CN is a leader in the North American rail industry and has RTCC’s (Rail Traffic Control Centre) in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal that monitor the rail network and ensure that safety standards are adhered to, while controlling the network-wide scheduling for over 300 trains operating daily across 12,000 miles of track in Canada.
Applied Electronics designed and installed a 1x4 array of 84” (diagonal) display screens illuminated by high resolution DLP projection engines. The new rear projection monitor wall, along with newer, simplified operating procedures, has greatly improved the train dispatcher's working environment.
Canadian National Railway Company spans Canada and mid-America, from the Atlantic and Pacific oceans to the Gulf of Mexico with ports in major cities throughout the continent.
