FEATURED PROJECTS
Rogers Sportsnet
This may be the most powerful, most flexible, most creative seamless display wall in Canada. This
AEL custom-built 84 ft. wide x 8 ft. high front projection display structure is the “on-air” backdrop for
the new Rogers Sportsnet broadcast studio in downtown Toronto.
The system is driven by a Christie Digital Vista Spyder multi-image display processor. Six Christie
HD8K high definition, high performance 3-chip DLP projectors blend multiple images to create one
large continuous seamless image across the curved 84 ft. screen. The Christie software enables a
multitude of HD sources including high definition video, graphics or HD-SDI video sources to be
displayed simultaneously anywhere on the screen.
Completed in June 2008, Rogers is very proud of their new system which can be viewed by tuning into
Rogers’ Sportsnet Connected.
