Jamie Easson Promoted to AEL's Manager of Systems Engineering, January 5, 2009 back to recent news    

Mississauga, Ontario - January 5, 2009 – Paul Stechly, President of Applied Electronics, is pleased to announce the promotion of Jamie Easson to Manager of Systems Engineering. Jamie has been with Applied Electronics for over 7 years and came to us with extensive experience in mobile and studio systems engineering. After following in the footsteps of Gord Ballantyne who carried the title for 41 dedicated years at Applied Electronics, Jamie is a highly qualified successor to take on the responsibilities that Gord shouldered.

As the new Manager of Systems Engineering, Jamie will continue to develop Applied Electronics' technical capabilities as a provider of integrated systems and workflow solutions. He will also keep abreast on technology changes in the industry so as to keep Applied Electronics at the forefront of technological developments.

Gord has taken on the role of Senior Technical Advisor and provides consultation to the sales and project management teams for both the Broadcast Systems and Audio Visual Systems Divisions.
